The phylogenetic analysis was conducted on the B1 gene of Toxoplasma gondii in hemodialysis patients from Khuzestan, southwestern Iran. The analysis was based on the maximum likelihood method using the Tamura-Nei model. The black circles represent the B1 sequences generated in this study. To compare the results, previously published sequences of humans and animals’ origin were retrieved from GenBank and included in the analysis.
