Cytokine production elicited by Z_EDIII immunization. C57BL/6 mice (n = 5) were immunized with Z_EDIII or PBS at 0 and 14 dpi. Mice were euthanized at 7 and 17 dpi (7 dpi; a–c, 17 dpi; d–f). Splenocytes were pooled from five mice in each group and stimulated with Z_EDIII (10 μg/ml) or PBS for 48 h. Concentrations of IFN-γ, TNF-α and IL-12 from the supernatant by ELISA.
