Diarrhea prevalence by age group at baseline and follow-up. Diarrhea was prevalent in 17.5% of households sampled within the 2-week period prior to intervention (baseline) while decreasing to 1.8% of households within the 2-week period prior to follow-up survey administration. Similar decreases in prevalence were noted in different age categories. All differences were statistically significant before and after adjusting for demographic and household covariates (see Tables 2 and 3 for details)
